Lead a Group
TAPS Group leaders are our face to new parents. Your compassion, empathy, and consistency will create an atmosphere of inclusion and non-judgement where the kinds of conversations that build trust and community can happen. While many of our leaders have been through a TAPS group before, it's not necessary in order to become a leader. If you're interested in become a group leader and have questions about what that entails, feel free to email Monica at firstname.lastname@example.org
All TAPS leaders are background checked, trained, supervised, and evaluated during the course of the TAPS group experience so that we can ensure we are providing the best possible program for parents in the Triangle. TAPS leaders are NOT experts and are not expected to be experts. We train our leaders to facilitate conversations; ask questions; and listen so that groups develop their own group wisdom and build trust in each other.
